5 from 1 vote

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup butter melted
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp poppy seeds
  • 1/2 tbsp 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1/2 pound ham thinly sliced
  • 1/2 pound Swiss cheese
  • 1 pack Kings Hawaiian rolls

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350° and prepare a baking dish with parchment paper, and cooking spray, and then set aside.
  • In a small bowl mix the butter, honey, mustard, and poppy seeds until combined and a sauce forms.
  • Next, while keeping the rolls connected, use a large knife to slice the Hawaiian rolls in half and place the bottoms in the prepared baking dish. Be sure not to separate or pull the rolls apart during this step.
  • With the bottom buns open-faced on the prepared dish, layer half of the ham, swiss, and then the remaining ham. Place the tops of the rolls onto the dish.
  • Next, spoon the sauce over the tops of the sandwiches.  Allow rolls to rest for 10 minutes before baking, or refrigerate for up to 1-2 days before baking.
  • Cover the sandwiches with aluminum foil and bake for about 15 minutes. Remove the foil after the 15-minute mark and bake for 10 more minutes until golden. Slice and serve!
