Best Restaurants in Turks and Caicos:
Da Conch Shack:
The Conch Shack is an institution in Turks and Caicos, but let’s be real, it’s pretty touristy. The menu is conch-forward as one would expect with dishes like classic cracked conch, conch fritters, and this dish called the Pirates Pot. We didn’t try it this time around, but locals are swearing it’s a must for the next trip. It has, lobster, conch, fish, and shrimp in a ginger soy broth, served with white rice and coleslaw.
Mr. Groupers:
Dive into the island’s finest local seafood dishes at Mr. Groupers. Don’t miss their grilled grouper with mango salsa for a burst of tropical flavors and a side of garlic butter shrimp for a truly perfect experience.
Coco Bistro:
Just a short walk from our hotel, we discovered Coco Bistro—known for its tropical ambiance and a dinner reservation that’s notoriously hard to secure. Taking a chance, we asked about walk-in availability, and the hostess mentioned a bar table had just become available. Our dinner order included the scallops, grilled lobster tail, blackened mahi, and the coco bistro punch.
Indigo:
Indigo offers an exceptional dining experience with its charming ambiance and incredible service. The lobster tail and steak & lobster are standout dishes not to be missed, both prepared to perfection. Don’t forget to try their signature cocktails like the cosmos and mojitos for a refreshing sip. Plus, if you mention any special occasion during your reservation, they always come out with a celebratory dessert surprise.
Marine Room:
Experience the perfect blend of great vibes and stunning ocean views at Marine Room. Be sure to indulge in the must-try dishes like the lobster orecchiette and the sideways tenderloin lasagna for a truly memorable dining experience.
Chinsons:
This is a true Caribbean flavor experience that won’t break the bank. Chinsons offers a ton of great options, but don’t miss out on their signature dishes: the flavorful jerk chicken platter, goat curry, cocoa bread, and refreshing house-made ginger drink.
Embers:
Embers is a must-visit spot, especially for special occasions like anniversaries. You’ll be treated to exceptionally good food prepared by their chefs in their open flame kitchen. Start with the bao buns and tuna tartare, and for mains, try the hearth-roasted lobster or Wagyu short rib.
Cocovan Airstream Lounge:
Cocovan is the spot for some outdoor charm and quick bites – perfect for a laid-back late lunch post-beach day or a chill dinner. The menu has lots to choose from like the fried fish taco, duck taco, crispy chicken sandwich, and a smash burger. Don’t miss the drinks – the Airstreamer or the Rum Punch are top picks for a refreshing sip.
Almond Tree:
Almond Tree is a cozy spot nestled in the heart of the island, offering a delightful mix of Caribbean and international cuisine. With its relaxed ambiance and flavorful dishes, it’s a must-visit for those seeking a casual dining experience. The must-try dish has to be the fried chicken and cornbread.
Mango Reef:
Mango Reef is a popular spot for dinner among visitors, known for its tasty dishes and lovely views. Among the must-try dishes are the seafood paella, char-grilled lobster tail, and deep-fried conch fritters.
Infiniti Restaurant & Raw Bar:
Nestled right at the edge of Grace Bay, Infiniti Restaurant & Raw Bar has stunning ocean views and a menu packed with fresh seafood. If you’re on the lookout for an elegant yet laid-back vibe, Infiniti is the spot for you. Our dinner order included the grilled octopus, crispy rice with tuna, miso cod, and plenty of painkiller drinks. The miso cod stole the show and became our favorite dish of the trip—so, it’s a definite must-try at Infiniti.
Le Bouchon de Village:
Transport yourself to the streets of Paris at Le Bouchon de Village. Begin with the escargot for a a classic french dish, then for mains try the beef bourguignon simmered to perfection for a super comforting meal on the island.
LMN 2 GO:
LMN 2 GO became my morning ritual – strolling from our hotel to snag an iced latte before the town wakes up. It’s the local morning hangout, a refreshing switch from the usual resort breakfast scene. Can’t go wrong with my daily go-to – a vanilla oat milk latte.
Farm at Grace Bay:
Casual farm-to-table experience at Farm at Grace Bay. It’s a great spot for brunch or a casual bite before heading back to the beach. Anything from the brunch menu is great, as well as items from the dinner menu like the chicken satay and snapper & grits.
Seven:
With its upscale atmosphere, Seven is the perfect spot for an elevated dinner on the island. Start your meal with the ahi tuna tartare for a refreshing appetizer, then for mains try the lobster thermidor served with truffle fries.
